Did you know that you can connect and use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap? In our active community Telegram group, we frequently get asked questions about how to use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap, so we decided to write a step-by-step guide explaining how to do so.
Crypto wallets supported on QuickSwap
While the vast majority of DEX users prefer MetaMask wallets to handle their transactions, many users prefer other cryptocurrency wallets. QuickSwap supports most of these wallets and is happy to offer the same seamless DeFi experience to all.
QuickSwap currently supports the following popular crypto wallets:
- MetaMask
- BitKeep
- Venly
- Portis
- Coinbase Wallet
- WalletConnect (which includes Trust Wallet, among many others)
Note: WalletConnect also supports an increasing number of crypto wallets. You can check the list of supported wallets on their homepage. If your preferred crypto wallet is on the list, you can use it on QuickSwap.
How to use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap on desktop
Trust Wallet is included in the list of supported wallets by WalletConnect (which is supported on QuickSwap). Therefore, you can use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap. The following steps explain how to connect your Trust Wallet to QuickSwap DEX.
Note that Trust Wallet is a mobile app. QuickSwap users will need to have it installed on their mobile device before connecting it to QuickSwap.
Step 1. Go to QuickSwap
On the top-right corner of QuickSwap’s User Interface, click on the Connect Wallet button.
Step 2. Select WalletConnect
You will get to choose from the list of supported crypto wallets. Select WalletConnect from the list To connect your Trust Wallet to QuickSwap.
Step 3. Scan the QR Code from the Trust Wallet app
After you choose WalletConnect, you will receive a QR code. Scan the QR code from your Trust Wallet mobile app, to connect to QuickSwap.
On your mobile device, open your Trust Wallet app, and go to Settings > WalletConnect to access the QR reader. Scan the QR code shown on QuickSwap’s desktop app.
After the QR code is read, your mobile device will prompt you, asking if you want to connect to QuickSwap. Click Connect and your wallet will be connected.
And that’s how you can connect and use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap.
To verify that your wallet is connected, look to the top-right corner for your wallet’s address.
How to connect and use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap on mobile
Many Trust Wallet users may find it more convenient to access QuickSwap DEX using their mobile devices. The wallet enables access to QuickSwap directly from the wallet’s dApps tab.
Step 1. Open the Trust Wallet mobile app
From your mobile device, open Trust Wallet.
Step 2. Search for QuickSwap Dapp
Go to the DApps tab and search for “QuickSwap” using the top search bar. Once you find it, select it, and it will open in your default mobile browser. Trust Wallet will prompt you to ask if you want to connect to QuickSwap. Click Connect.
Step 3. Use Trust Wallet with QuickSwap
If this is the first time you have connected your Trust Wallet to QuickSwap using your mobile app, it might take a while to see your wallet connected. Be patient.
Additionally, make sure you connect to QuickSwap using the Polygon network. You can change networks in the top-right corner of your browser.
Using Trust Wallet with QuickSwap
After you see your wallet connected to the DEX, you can now use it to:
- Swap tokens (Swap tab),
- Provide liquidity (Pool tab),
- Yield farm (Farm tab) and
- Stake $QUICK tokens in the Dragon’s Lair or Dragon’s Syrup.
